PEARCE BEATS AGAIN

At Balmain regatta to-day Pearce, the Olvmpic representative, conceded the New Zealander Jackson 12 seconds start over a three-quarter mile course. The spectators included William Beach and William Webb, two former world champions. Pearce won by two lengths, but Jackson had the misfortune to foul another competitor when in a handy position and ruined what promised to be a splendid finish.
