GIRL ELECTROCUTED

INEXPLICABLE ACCIDENT ON X-RAY TABLE (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) London, December 17. Doris Laverack, aged 8 years, was killed on the X-ray table in the Hull Infirmary. The electric current passed through the girl, and thence to the mother, who is suffering from burns. The doctor also received a shock m getting the dead child off the table. There was a vivid flash, the cut tent first traversing the nurse, thence the child, and thence the mother, who was standing at the head of the table, lhe mother was rendered unconscious, but recovered. The nurse was severely burned on the legs, arms, and body. The accident is regarded as inexplicable. There have been thousands or successful examinations by the same apparatus.
