CHRISTMAS CHEER

HELP FROM THE GREEK COMMUNITY.

Recently at a meeting of Greek residents in Wellington a collection was taken in the room and the proceeds, amounting to £22, were handed to Mr. Frank Dyer, Greek Consul, to be distributed, as he thought tit, among the homes and orphanages in Wellington, to provide Christinas cheer for the Inmates. Mr. Dyer has now forwarded a cheque for £7 to the Anglican Boys’ Home, Lower Hutt, £8 to St. Mary’s Home, Karori, and £.7 to St. Barnabas’ Babies’ Home at Khandallah.
