ELECTIVE EXECUTIVE
Sir.-A-Very many electors- are dissatisfied with the present system of party government, and the unsatisfactory results of the elections. Party government often serves the interests of the party, rather than those of the people. May I suggest that some members of the House, when it meets, propose that Parliament elects its own Executive, choosing the best men irrespective of party. The country’s affairs in future to be conducted much on the business lines of a public company.—l am, etc., EFFICIENCY.
