BOURGEOIS PARTIES AND MODERATE SOCIALISTS CO-OPERATION URGED BY STRESEMANN “A MARRIAGE OF REASON” (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) (Rec. November 26, 10.15 p.m.) London, November 26. The “Morning Post’s” Berlin correspondent states that Dr. Stresemann, speaking at a gathering of the People’s Party, strongly objected to the suggestion that the Socialists should shoulder the sole responsibility of the Government, because they were victorious at the elections. If the Bourgeois parties refused to co-operate they were to blame if the Communists were strengthened. The Bourgeios parties should foster the moderate elements of Socialism which were ready to cooperate with the People’s Party. This would be. a marriage of reason.
