MISS TOBIN RELEASED

Nelson, November 5.

Information has been received by the New Zealand Church Missionary Society from Bishop Holden, of Kwangsi, Hunan, that Miss Tobin, the New Zealand missionary who was captured by bandits about six weeks ago and held for ransom, has been released unharmed.

Of the goldfish in Britain to be kept as “pets,” only about 5 per cent, survive the first six months, owing to the popular lack of knowledge of how to treat them.
