ESCAPED PRISONER

REMANDED TO RAETIHI. Palmerston' North, November 3. The escaped prisoner,. Charles William Wahle, alias Mcßae, who broke out of the Raetihi gaol on October 23, but was arrested at the Palmerston North railway station yesterday afternoon by Constable .Colbourne, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in ■ the Magistrate’s Court, this morning, when Senior-Sergeant Whitehouse said that he was wanted by the police in Raetihi for various offences. The Magistrate remanded accused to appear in Raetihi next-Monday.
