“THE DOMINION”

MENTIONED IN PARLIAMENT f'The Dominion” was given some pro-” tninenee in the House yesterday by Air. E. A. Ransom (Pahiatua), who quoted from it a report of remarks made by the Alinister of Lands last year. “AVe know that it is the duty of ‘The Dominion,’ ” said the member in a' loud tone of voice, “to boost the Government; it is its primary, duty to do that. If ‘The Dominion’ has misrepresented the Alinister, it should be brought upon the mat.” .... Rising to a point of order, -the Alinister of Lands said that, had Air. Ransom wished .to be fair he would have quoted from the following day's issue of “Tlie Dominion,” in which it was stated that the Minister's remarks had reference to the Urewera laud and not to Te Wera block. Air. Ransom: I never saw the correction. lam glad the Alinister mentioned it.
