CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ACTIVITIES.
The secretary of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce (Mr. H. S. Fairchild) lias received the following communication from Mr. W. J. Wade, of Sydney, representative for Australia and New Zealand of the Port of Manchester Company:— “I am much obliged for the copy of ‘The Dominion’ newspaper of Tuesday, May 8. ... It is an excellent publication, and of considerable interest as marking the progress made by your leading national daily. “I find I previously omitted to acknowledge receipt of a very beautiful-hand-book from the Government Publicity Department, also through the/courtesy of your suggestion to them. “I shall visit New Zealand again in th' coming; spring, if possible, and shall then hope to have the pleasure °£ thanking you personally for your many courtesies.”
