LOWER HUTT BURGLARY

GOODS STOLEN FROM DAIRY. Two lock-up shops in Cuba Street, Lower Hutt, occupied by Mrs. Neville as a dairy, and Mr. Petherick as a fish shop, were broken into on Sunday between 8.31) and 11.30 p.m.. and about £5 worth of goods were taken from the dairy. In eacli case entrance was made through a roar window. Nothing was taken from Mr I’etherick’s shop, but a motor-car in a garage at the rear was taken on to the road Evidently, however, it was found impossible to start the engine, and tile car was left.
