ALLEGED THEFT OF MONEYS

EX-MANAGER AND CLERK CHARGED. Br Telegraph.—press association Eltliam, June 19. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day / Harley Hector Henderson, ex-manager of Newton King, Ltd.’s Kaponga branch, was charged with the theft of £125 on July 28, 1924. John Harold Adam, ex-clerk in the same branch, was charged with the theft of £lO2 on April 15, 1926. Both men were remanded to appear on July 4, bail being forthcoming. A detective stated that the amount, involved in Henderson’s case was about £l2OO tind in Adam’s case about £2OO.
