EARTHQUAKE IN PERU
TOWN LEFT IN RUINS (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Rev. May 16, ll|3o p.m.) Lima (Peru), May 16. Reports from Chachapoyas, the capital of the Department of Amazonas, say that the town has been left in ruins, with ten dead, owing to the earthquake on Monday.
