The ferocity of the weasel was demonstrated on a Manaia farm a few days ago (reports the “Witness"). A settler engaged in gathering wood saw an adult weasel carrying a yotllig one in its mouth, and he launched ail attack ou the pests With a lump of wood. Both showed considerable fight, and after the young one had been dispatched the old one ran under a log, where it continued its snarling and teeth-showing. Later on it was found that the old one had carried off the dead body of the young weasel. A cold in the head needs treatment in the head. “Nazol” is the coninionsense, scientific remedy. Acts like a charm; 60 doses for Is. 6d.—Advt.
