ROUND TRIP EXCURSION
The round trip embracing a journey of 220 miles through the Wellington province on Sunday promises to be a most enjoyable outing. The journey over the Kiinutakas and through the Wairarapa and Alanawatu is full of interest, even for those who have previously made tlie trip. 'The large, numbei; who have expressed their intention of joining up should have a happy tune at the Alanawatu Gorge, where the train will stop for about four hours to give passengers an opportunity of picnicking on the banks of the Manawatu River. The bathing at this spot is unsurpassed, and on the previous trip the only regrets heard were from those who had ieft their bathing “togs” at home. The special train will leave Lambton at 8 a.in. to-morrow.
