The Minister of Labour (Hon. G. J. Anderson) returned to Wellington from the south vesterdav. The Minister of Defence (Hon. F. J. Rolleston) will return to Wellington from Tiinaru to-morrow. The Minister of Agriculture (Hon. O. J. Hawken), who returned to Wellington from Eltbain yesterday, will leave on Wednesday next to ioin the Prime Minister (Rt.’ Hon. J. G. Coates) and the Minister of Lands (Hon. A. D. McLeod) on a visit of inspection to the gum lands in the Far North. The permanent head of the Prime Minister’s Department (Mr. F. D. Thomson) returned to Wellington from the north yesterday. Professor and Dlrs. Algie arrived in Wellington yesterday from Auckland, and went on Io the South Island last night. Lieutenant-Colonel Pilkington left Wellington yesterday for a holiday visit to Auckland.
