HOME OF COMPASSION
SUCCESSOR TO REV, MOTHER AUBERT SISTER MARY CECILIA CHOSEN It was announced yesterday that, as the result of an election at the Home of Compassion, Island Bay, on Saturday, Sister Mary Cecilia (Miss A. Crombiq) was appointed successor to the late Rftv. Mother Aubert. Sister Cecilia, who is a daughter of the late Mr. Charles Melville Crombie, formerly Commissioner of Taxes, joined the order eighteen years ago, and has been connected with the Home of Compassion during the whole of that period. She was first assistant to the late Rev. Mother Aubert.
