The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates) and Mrs. Coates left on Saturday night for Christchurch, en route to Invercargill and Bluff, where they will farewell the Duke and Duchess of York to-morrow. They were accompanied by the Minister of Public Works (Hon. K. S. Williams) and Mrs. Williams. Later the Ministers will pay a visit of inspection to irrigation works in Central Otago. The Minister of Labour (Hon. G. J. Anderson) left on Saturday night for Gore. In addition to the honour conferred upon him by the Duke of York, Mr. J. Hislop, of the Internal Affairs Department, was the recipient from the Duke of autographed photos of the Duke and Duchess in a handsome silver-mounted frame, and also golden sleeve links.
