CHRISTIAN CONVENTION

GATHERING AT NGARUAWAIIIA. During recent years the Christian church has been deriving great blessing from Bible study and fellowship, at tlie annual "conventions/' among the cliiei being the great Keswick Convention ot England, and the Northfield Convention of U.S.A., where Protestant Christians of all denominations gather. Such a gatuering will be held in New Zealand this year at Ngaruawahia, under a committee of laymen representing several denominations. . . i Outstanding men from distant lands are now en route to Ngaruawahia, including Dr. Howard Taylor, son of the late Hudson Taylor, founder of the China Inland Mission, Rowland V. Bingham, founder and director of the Sudan Interior Mission, and Rev.. W. 1. Nicholson, who was engaged in the recent Belfast revivals. Dr. Taylor is accompanied by bis wife, who is authoress of many books of world-wide Christian influence, and daughter of Mr. Grattan Guinness, who is prominent in Christian circles in England. The other speakers will be Rev. Jos W Kemp, pastor of the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle, and Mr. C. J. Rolls, of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute.
