KENT TERRACE RESERVE
RATEPAYERS PROTEST. The following resolution was passed at a meeting of the executive of the Wellington North Ratepayers’ Association, held last evening“ That this association views with much concern the action of the City Council in entering upon a public reserve and destroying plantations thereon, before obtaining proper authority, and trusts that no further steps will be taken to make alterations in Kent Terrace until the city engineer has reported upon the proposed scheme of improvements.
