TOWN AND COUNTRY. Mrs. C. A. Loughnan, who has been on a visit to Napier, has returned to Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. E., R. White, of Sherwood, Takapau, arc spending holidays at Wanganui. Mrs. A. F. Fitzlierbert, of Hokowhitu, is on a visit to Wellington, where she is the guest of Lady McGavin. Mr. and Mrs. Standish, of ' Christchurch, who have been visiting Napier, have returned home'. , Mrs. C. Pratt, who has been staying in Palmerston North, has returned to her home in Ashburton. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mcßeth, ot Wanganui, are spending a few days in Auckland prior to leaving for England Mrs. R. Loughnan, of Palmerston North, has gone to Auckland for a few days. Mrs. and Miss Warren, of Dannevirke, have returned home after a brief stay in Napier. Mr. and Mrs. Dent, of England, will shortly be visiting New Zealand While in Palmerston North thev will be the guests of the Rev G Dent . Among tile Palmerston North visitors at the opening on Saturday of the Foxton tepnis tournament were Mr. and Mrs. H N Watson. Miss Hacgitt and Messrs. Hooper, McDonald, Salmon and Fergie.
