The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the foil iwing advice from its London otliee under date January 6: —Tallow: There is a poor demand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 455. 6d. to 465. per cwt.; good 'beef 4:’ c . to 425. hd. per cwt.; good mixed, 4ls. 6d. to 425. per cwt.j gut, 365. to 38s. 6d. per cwt. Afessrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date January 6:—1385 casks of tallow offered. 32(1 sold.
