NELSON ROSE SHOW
OVER 300 BLOOMS STAGED. By Telegraph—special CorrespondentNelson, November 14. The Horticultural Society’s Rose Show was held to-day, , and revealed good all-round competition in spite of the unfavourable season, over 300 blooms being staged. The champion class of six roses was won by W. Bunten, while the champion bloom was awarded to J. Bruce for his fine specimen, “Mrs. Bryce Allen.” E. B. Izard was the runner-up with liis “Lemon Pillar” variety.
