ASSISTANCE WANTED BUT FROM JAPANESE VESSELS ONLY Vancouver, November 13. The Admiral liner President McKinley, which berthed at Victoria today, reports hearing on November X, when nearing the 180th meridian, _ a call from the Ryuwo Maru, asking for aid. The message said that the bridge had gone in a storm and the vessel could transmit but not receive wireless. A later message stated that the ship did not need help, and could make Honolulu under her own steam. A wireless message received at ban Francisco reports that the Japanese cteamer Rvuwo Maru is disabled 2000 miles due west of flan.
