The official scrutiny in connection with the Westlaud election was completed at four o’clock on Sunday morning. J. O'Brien (Labour) and T. R. Y. Seddon (Nationalist) each have ■1174 votes. There are three absent votes yet to come. [The voting on election day was O’Brien 4015, Seddon 4000, with 330 absent and seamen’s votes to come.]
