RAILWAY HOARDINGS
REVENUE NEEDED BY DEPARTMENT By I Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, November 14. The Prime Minister, the Hon. J. G. Coates, this morning refused a request by the City Council that advertisements on railway hoardings should be submitted to the council. He said that the Department needed revenue from hoardings., and could not hand the management' of its advertising to the council.
