MAHENO STILL HELD UP

DEPARTURE AGAIN POSTPONED

All efforts to procure a crew for the Maheno on Saturday morning were unavailing, and although the passengers optimistically went on board before 11 a.m., the advertised sailing time, the missing members of the crew had not beeti replaced, and the vessel could not sail. At 12 o’clock it was announced that the Maheno’s departure had been postponed until 11 a.m. to-day. Seamen, firemen, trimmers, and greasers were required, the total number being over 40. . . , , Beyond saying that the position had not altered at all since the previous day, the officials of the Union Company declined to make any statement.
