The Greytown gas consumption fi Gctobe' was 394,000 cubic feet, ouj: A a total of 446,400 cubic feet manufactured The gas sold for the corresponding period last year was 442,000 cubic feet. Brother C, Moore has been elected a trustee of Court Marquis of Norinanbv, A.0.F., in place of Brother M. C. Woodbury, resigned. Brother H. Burgess has been appointed a delegate to the Friedly Societies CouuciL An invitation to the Masterton Court on November 26 was accepted, and the Wellington district officers will be present. The Featherston Dairy Company has thirteen vats at, present in use, and there is prospect of a further increase. The Greytown District High School’s average attendance last month was 237.
The Carterton cemetery trustees are taking the necessary steps to 'vest the cenieterv in the Wairarapa South Couiitv ’ Council and the Carterton Borough Council. The latter body will be the controlling authority.
