BOWLING CLUB CASE
HEARING ADJOURNED. It was anticipated that the case in which J. D. Sievwright is applying for an injunction against the directors ot the Wellington Bowling Club restraining them from acting upon a resolution expelling him from the club in Marc.i, and further, claiming .£25 damages, would ’be heard before Mr. Justice Hoskin” in the Supreme Court on Saturday Mr. A. W. Blair, who represented plaintiff, however, stated that an amicable arrangement of a temporary character had been arrived at between the part'es. Consequently, upon the suggestion ot counsel, His Honour made the fallowing direction: “The directors of the defendant club undertaking that, without prejudice to their right to chum that plaintiff is not a member, they will, until decision by the Supreme Court, adopt the attitude that the question of his membership is subjudice, the trial of the action be adjourned untß t“ 0 February sittings of the Court.
