WIDOW SENT TO GAOL Br TELEGKArw- — Press Association. Christchurch, December 20. Annie Wilkinson, a widow, aged 56, employed as a domestic servant, was convicted of three charges of shoplifting yesterday, and sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. Counsel said she had been stealing Christinas presents. and the Magistrate said Lhe woman had been in the habit of going from shop to shop.
