Describing himself as “a fanatical believer in aviation,” he emphasised the importance of quick transit of mails, samples, bonds, and contracts, as greatly assisting tho Empire’s progress- He predicted that within two years airships twice as large as had ever been conceived would be travelling from Britain to India in ninetysix hours, and to Australia in 200 to 250 hours. —Sydney “Sun” Cable.
