SHOOTING ACCIDENT
YOUNG BANK CLERK KILLED By Telegraph. — Pnzss Association. Auckland, October 6. While Erie Ridgley, 20 years of age, was riding on top of a wagon-load ta posts at Kamarama, near Druiy, yesterday afternoon, with a gun lying beside him, the weapon was :-haken oft the wagon, and in the fall the trigger became caught. One barrel of the gun was discharged, the s b°t entering Ridgeley’s chest. He was brought to Auckland Hospital, where he died during the night. His father is stationmaster at Pahiatua. Deceased was employed as a bank clerk at Fauranga.
