Air E. A. Israel, formerly of the Post and Telegraph Department, has returned to the Dominion after travelling through Australia and Tasmania for the last two and a half years with Ambassa**r Booth as his private secretary. He is now arranging for a short, farewell tour bv Air. Booth before tho latter returns to America. Air Isra'el states that Ambassador Booth has filled such large buildings as tho Brisbane Exhibition and the Alelbourne Auditorium, whilo at one meeting in the Sydney Town . Hall the police had to interfere owing to the crowd seeking an early admittance and causing a block. Air. Israel.declares that verv many untrue and misleading reports have been circulated in regard to Air. Booth. Ho is not a "kill joy, and believes that healthy recreation has its proper place. Air. Booth has, however, seen good to call attention to the inordinate love of sport as exhibited bv the average Australian. The outspoken and fearless denunciation of some of the sins of the large cities of the Commonwealth attracted much attention, and, naturally, some adverse criticism. The Ambassador will arrive by the Maunganui next Alonday, and commence a mission the aarn ® night iu the Taranaki Street Alethodist Church. Full particulars of the following meetings will be found in our advertising; columns in Saturday a issue. _
