DESERTERS FROM NATIONAL ARMY SHOT (Rec. January 10, 0.5 a.m.) London, January 9. Five soldiers who deserted from the National Army were shot to-day after trial by court-martial. On December 11 tho men were captured at Kildare. in a fight in which a National soldier was killed and two were wounded. The five men executed apparently deserted during the fight, taking their arms and ammunition with them. —“The limes.”
