MR. P. SELIG RETIRING BY TELE.VRAPH— PRFRR ASSOCIATION. Christchurch, January 9. Mr. I*. Selig, having recently attained his jubilee in the profession of journalism and newspaper work generally. has decided to retire from the position of manager of the Christchurch fViSss "Company, in whose service he has been for nenr’v thirtv-three years. He will relinquish his duties at the end of February. At a meeting of the Press Coningpy directors to .lav. Mr. Seim’s resignation was accepted, and a resolution was passed placing on record the board’s appreciation of Dlr. Selig’s thirty-three years ,of faithful service to tho company. Tim board also voted Mr. Se'i’g a very generous retiring allow-
anco. Mr. Selig leaves shortly on a trip to tho Old Country.
