RISE OF Id. PER POUND The local wholesale price of butter wns raised another Id. per lb. on Monday. Standard brands aro now selling at Is. lOd. per lb. retail. The tendency of tho price of butter for New Zealand consumption is to go still higher in view of the improved London market, and this 'hardening of prices in Australia.
