The beautv of white lilacs m the rain But I am humbled with remembering . How purity shall conquer every stain, And back of every winter lurks the spring. , I see the maples in new leaf. Nor hear a robin sing but I recall How jov must ever triumph over grief, And ‘sorrow turn to smiles.; out of all Tho faces that I know no face but stirs Within my heart a quiet dream of hers. —Helen Frazee-Bower.
