NEW SOUTH WALES MINERS DEMANDS ON EMPLOYERS BY TBLEGBAPU.—PB.EBS ABSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Sydney, September 29. ’Die Miners’ Federation is submitting the following demands, to the southern owners:— Pillar-working, P*'? c ® to be defined as a working place with two loose ends; when a miner fails to make less than 255., shift contract rates shall be paid at not less than that amount; no deductions for dirt; explosives to be allowed from that amount. . . Mr. Hibble is convening a meeting of the Coal Tribunal for October 10. to hear the employers’ claim for 33 1-3 per cent, reduction. Pending the result of the conference between the owners and miner* no further development has .occurred in the coal dispute.
