Mr. H. D. Swan, the president of tho Essex Countv Cricket Club, and a member of tho M.C.C. Committee, who is well-known in Australia and New Zealand, has been anpointed manager of MacLaren’s cricket team.
Mr. C. E. Robertson live stock editor of the “Now Zealand Farmer:” has accepted an appointment with Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., of Wellington, to take charge of their new stud stock department. « new departure in New Zealand.
