WIDOW’S SUDDEN DEATH
ON NEW PLYAIOUTH EXPRESS.

Ml* Hannah Rogers, a widow, aged 8L of Bell Block, New Plymouth, died suddenly on a northward-bound train today just before reaching Tokomaru. )t appears that with a. son sho had been spending a holiday in Canterbury, and returned to Wellington by the Maori this morning, after a rough trip, which rather exhausted Tier. However, she «aid she was well enough to continue the journey, and took the train to New Plymouth. Soon after reaching Paekakariki she complained of feeling cold, and this was followed by fainting fits, which culminated in death just Wore Tokomam was reached. The body was taken to the morgue at Palmerston North, and an inquest was formally opened and adjourned
