LEAGUE OF NATIONS
JUSTIFYING ITS EXISTENCE PEACE OF WORLD MORE SECURE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, October 6. "The Times," in a leader reviewing the League of Nations, takes the view that it is justifying its existence. It gives an affirmative answer to questions —ls the peace of the world more secure than when the League was founded? Are its methods appropriate to the conditions with which it- was called on to deal? "The Times” says: "We may well be satisfied with what it has succeeded in accomplishing to date. The chief danger is in attempting too much. If the League avoids this we believe the time will come when we will wonder how we got on without it." —"The Times.”
