GERMANY AND FRANCE
LASTING AGREEMENT POSSIBLE IF FRENCH POLICY MODIFIED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright Paris, Octolier 6. General Ludendorff, in an interview, said that it was quite {possible to establish a lasting agreement between Germany and France, on condition that the two nations come io arrangements as much in the interests of Germany as of France. The French policy after the war more than strengthened in Germany the conviction that France was determined to crush Germany completely. This explains the ever-growing animosity towards France of a large number of Germans. This animosity would disappear the moment the French Government resolved to modify the policy directed against Germany.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn
