SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
The vocal, instrumental, and elocutionary programme presented by -Mrs. J. Bennie at tho Sailors’ Friend Society on Thursday was one of great merit, and encores were frequent. The performers were: Mesdanies A. L. Cooke and Bennie, Misses Judd, Nathan, and Messrs. Hamilton Hodges. T»nn»r. Gould, and Rev. Archibald E. Hunt. Mrs. A. L. Statham, and went to tho Amokura and men in port.
