RIFLE SHOOTING
MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT ON RANGE. At Trentham to-day the Karori Rifla Club will again entertain members of Parliament with a rifle match. This fixture, which is now an annual event, takes tho form of a match between Al.P.’s representing respectively the North and South Islands. in two matches already fired each Island has secured a win. The trophy presented by the club to the highest scorer was won last year by Mr. Hamilton, of Awarua, with a really fine score. Much interest is being taken by the House in tho match, and it is stated thn-tjherw have been quite a few “try outs” recently in a local shooting gallery. Aa iu the case of the Springboks, the teams are not being published until the last moment, much depending on the conditions of wind and light, members of the Parliamentary Press gallery, will also be the guests of the club, and fire their annual match.
