ANTI-TUBERCULOSIS SERUM
NEED FOR CARE IN MANUFAC-
TURE. London, July 9. Tho "Observer’s” Geneva, correspondent says that Dr. Spahlinger is the inventor of the new anti-tuberculosis serum, which requires two years for its manufacture. The Faris Academy of Science, having declared the discovery to bo of the highest scientific imixirtance, is now inun dated with world-wide applications from nil over, the world. Dr. Spahlinger aims at preventing the promiscuous manufacture of ineffective serum, and desires that the manufacture and distribution shall be solely conducted by Government laboratories ‘ under skilled instructors Three Governments have already signed contracts for the erection of their own laboratories, and the British Gorornment is also negotiating.—Aus.-N.Z.
