PORT OF WANGANUI
STATISTICS FOR HALF-YEAR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, July 8. The half-year ended June 30 was a prosperous one for the Harbour Board. The number of ships trading to the port largely increased, particularly coasters, in which the increase was 338. ~110 total increase in the number of ships was 35. The increase in the tonnage was 114,079. Revenue for the halFyear was £12,867, and expenditure £11,113, the not increase being £728. va l?® of the exports from the district for the first five months this year was £2,031,789.
