RIOTING IN INDIA
SEVERAL PEOPLE KILT,ED AT ALIGARH. (Rec. July 7, 7.55 p.m.; Delhi, July 6. Serious rioting occurred at Aligarh, in the north-we-st provinces, fifty-five miles north of Agra, as an outcome of the conviction of a political prisoner. The mob attacked the police guard, and burned the post office and other buildings. Several persons were killed. Military were summoned from Agra and quelled the outbreak. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
