LABOURER’S BODY FOUND

The body of Samuel Tait O’Brien, 50 years of age, a labourer, was found in the Oakleigh Creek, Avondale, yesterday He had been missing since January 1, when he disappeared from a quarry. He was last seen brandishing a knife. The body bore cuts, and there was evidence that the arteries of the legs had been opened.
