In Uie House o£ Commons to-day. replying to Commander Locker Laiupson (C.U.J; Mr. "Winston Churchill' (Minister for War) stated that the British Army was distributed approximately as follows:—Home. 153,000, including nearly 50,000 in Ireland; Rhine. ]B,<KO; Egypt, Palestine, the Black Sea, Mesopotamia, North-West Persia. 13,500; Colonies, 9500; .Franco (Flanders), 3500; India and Aden. 64,000; miscellaneous, 7500. Total, 295,000.—Beuter.
