AUSTRALIAN TIN
TEN YEARS' OUTPUT PURCHASED BY BRITAIN. (Rec. December 7, 8.15 p.m.) London, Decemher 7. Tlie president of the Board of Trade in the House of Commons said the Government holds stocks of concentrated zinc amounting to 503,000 tons in Australia. The British Government has undertaken to purchase Australian tin for ten years, but ho was not prepared to recommend any extension of tho Government's buying operations.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
