VIOLENCE IN IRELAND
FURTHER DUBLIN RAIDS. (Rec. February 15. 5.5 p.m.) London. February 14. Police and soldiers in motor lorries mado a scries of raids in Dublin at daybreak, arresting eight, including a town councillor. Mr. Michael Staines a Sinn Fein member of the House of Commons, escaped 'by a back door while tho polico were knocking at the front. Civilians attacked two constables at Ratlidrum, wounding one. Policemen returned the fire, killing one civilian.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
